01

Acceptance and Scope

This website is operated by Dr. Shaheer Khalid for Life Care Dental Center, also registered as Life Care Medical and Dental Center, Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. By accessing the website, submitting information, creating an account, posting permitted content or requesting an appointment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These terms govern website use and administrative arrangements with the clinic. They do not replace a clinical examination, an individual treatment plan, informed consent for a procedure, the Privacy Policy or the Website Disclaimer.

If you do not accept these terms, do not use the website’s interactive features. You may still contact the clinic by telephone to ask about available care.

02

Appointments, Rescheduling and Attendance

  • Submitting the website form or sending a WhatsApp message creates an appointment request only.
  • An appointment is confirmed after the clinic contacts the patient and agrees on the dentist, clinic, date and time.
  • If you expect to arrive late, contact the clinic as soon as possible. Late arrival may shorten the available consultation or require rescheduling.
  • A confirmed appointment may be rescheduled without paying the routine consultation fee again when that fee has already been paid.
  • The clinic does not impose a separate missed-appointment penalty.
  • A prepaid routine consultation fee may be requested back if the appointment is cancelled or not attended.
  • The clinic may reschedule an appointment because of an emergency, dentist availability, equipment issues or another operational reason. The team will contact the patient using the supplied details.
Urgent and life-threatening situations Website forms, email and WhatsApp are not guaranteed to be monitored immediately. For urgent dental care, call the clinic. For a life-threatening emergency, call Rescue 1122 or attend the nearest hospital emergency department.

Consultation Fees, Deposits and Instalments

Routine consultation: The first outpatient or routine consultation fee is PKR 500 and must be paid before the consultation begins.

Consultation refunds: A prepaid routine consultation fee is refundable when the appointment is cancelled or not attended. The patient should contact the clinic and provide the relevant appointment and payment details so the request can be checked.

Treatment deposits: A deposit paid toward treatment is non-refundable. This includes situations where the patient later decides not to proceed after the clinic has reserved clinical time, begun preparation or committed resources.

Custom and laboratory items: Payments relating to ordered materials, laboratory work, crowns, bridges, dentures, aligners or another patient-specific item are non-refundable after the order or work has begun.

Instalments: The clinic may allow an agreed treatment fee to be paid in instalments. Any remaining balance must be paid before the final procedure or before a custom appliance, restoration or laboratory item is delivered.

Online payments may be processed through a third-party payment provider. A payment is complete only after the clinic or payment provider confirms the transaction.

04

Treatment Plans, Additional Care and Results

After examination, the dentist may explain the proposed procedure, treatment stages, expected follow-up, procedure fee and payment schedule. The fee agreed for the described procedure will not be changed merely because treatment is underway.

Additional treatment that was not included in the agreed procedure increases the total cost. This may include care requested by the patient or additional care identified as clinically appropriate. The dentist will explain the added treatment and fee, and the patient’s consent will be requested before non-emergency additional treatment proceeds.

Treatment recommendations, duration estimates and expected outcomes are based on the information available during assessment. No particular result, appearance, healing time, pain level or treatment duration can be guaranteed because anatomy, oral hygiene, healing, underlying conditions and patient cooperation differ.

A patient may ask questions, request clarification or decline a proposed treatment before giving consent. Declining treatment may affect the likely dental outcome, which the dentist may explain.

05

Patient and Guardian Responsibilities

Patients, and parents or legal guardians acting for patients under 18, are responsible for:

  • providing accurate and complete contact, medical and dental information;
  • disclosing medicines, allergies, pregnancy, medical conditions and relevant previous treatment;
  • asking questions when a diagnosis, procedure, risk, fee or aftercare instruction is unclear;
  • following agreed preparation, oral-hygiene, medication and aftercare instructions;
  • attending recommended reviews and treatment-related follow-ups;
  • informing the clinic about unexpected symptoms, complications or changes in health;
  • paying agreed fees and instalments by the stated stage of treatment; and
  • treating staff, other patients and clinic property respectfully.

A patient under 18 may receive treatment only with consent from a parent or legal guardian, subject to the dentist’s professional responsibilities and any applicable legal requirements.

06

Respectful Conduct and Refusal of Service

Abusive language, threats, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, deliberate disruption, damage to property or disrespect toward doctors, reception staff, patients or visitors will not be tolerated.

Subject to professional duties, patient safety and applicable requirements, the clinic may refuse, pause or end non-emergency treatment because of abusive conduct, non-payment, knowingly false medical information, unsafe behaviour or repeated refusal to follow essential clinical instructions. Where appropriate, the clinic may explain how the patient can obtain continuing care elsewhere.

07

Accounts, Comments and Uploaded Content

If account, comment or upload features are available, users must provide accurate information, keep login details confidential and notify the clinic if they believe an account has been used without permission.

Users must not submit or publish content that:

  • is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or deliberately false;
  • contains malware, spam, unauthorised advertising or attempts to interfere with the website;
  • infringes another person’s copyright, privacy or other rights;
  • reveals another patient’s identity, health information or private communication without authority; or
  • impersonates a doctor, clinic employee, patient or another person.

Users retain ownership of content they submit. By intentionally posting content for public display, the user gives the clinic a non-exclusive permission to store, display and technically reproduce that content for operating and moderating the website. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for necessary backups or legal records.

The clinic may review, restrict or remove user content and may suspend an account that violates these terms. Do not place medical records, X-rays, prescriptions or other sensitive information in a public comment.

08

Website Content, Ownership and Third-Party Services

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s original text, graphics, layout, branding and clinic-owned photographs belong to Life Care Dental Center or are used with permission. They may not be copied, republished, sold, altered or used commercially without written permission. Limited personal viewing and sharing of an ordinary page link are permitted.

The website may link to or use third-party services such as WhatsApp, maps, analytics, payment processing, video, social platforms or external information sources. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not mean the clinic controls or guarantees the external service.

We may correct, update, remove or reorganise website content without prior notice. We do not guarantee that every page, form or external connection will remain available without interruption or error.

09

Website Availability and Liability

Website content is general information and does not replace examination, diagnosis or an individual treatment plan. Use of the website, email, WhatsApp or an appointment form does not by itself create a dentist-patient relationship.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the clinic is not responsible for loss caused solely by unavailable website features, delayed electronic messages, incorrect information supplied by a user, unauthorised use of a user account or the independent operation of a third-party platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes professional duties, patient rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Clinical concerns and complaints will be considered according to the circumstances, relevant professional obligations and applicable requirements.

10

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when website features, clinic procedures, payment arrangements or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Changes apply from publication and do not retrospectively change a treatment fee already agreed for the same procedure.

11

Governing Law, Questions and Complaints

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of Pakistan. Subject to any required complaint or regulatory process, disputes relating to these terms will be handled by the courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Faisalabad, Punjab.

Contact the clinic promptly if you believe an appointment, fee, payment or website issue has been recorded incorrectly.
